体育锻炼对大学生心理应激的调节作用:来自纵向研究的证据

摘要:

过去几十年,人们心理应激水平显著性增加,甚至儿童和青少年也报告出较高的心理应激水平,心理应激已成为人类身心疾病的重要诱因,如何有效缓冲心理应激对人类健康的危害已成为日前亟待解决的重要课题,体育锻炼对身心健康的积极作用是否能够调节心理应激对健康的危害?目的:为了探讨大学生体育锻炼水平在心理应激与健康之间的调节作用。方法:采用身体活动记忆量表,中国大学生心理应激量表和疾病严重性等级量表,对405名在校大学生体育锻炼、心理应激水平和健康状况进行评估,体育锻炼水平的界定根据身体活动记忆量表的测量结果折算成代谢当量。采用纵向研究设计,追踪测量持续1年时间,每3个月测量一次,采用层次线性模型分析评估数据。结果显示,基线测量时的疾病状况与心理应激呈显著正相关(r=0.26,P<0.05),体育锻炼与疾病状况(r=0.06,P>0.01)以及体育锻炼与心理应激之间相关性不显著(r=-0.04,P>0.01)。多层线性模型分析表明,心理应激(β=0.23,P<0.01)和体育锻炼(β=1.54,P<0.01)对疾病发生状况预测作用显著,体育锻炼水平与心理应激的交互作用显著(β=0.05,P<0.05)。结论:体育锻炼在心理应激和疾病的发生之间起调节作用,能够减缓心理应激对健康的负面作用。

Abstract:

In past several decades,people were perplexed with psychological stress,even children and adolescent were reported high stress. Whether exer-cise can moderate health problems exerted by psychological stress is not clear? The objective of this study is to explore the interaction effects between exerciseand psychological stress in predicting health among college students. Adolescent Physical Activity Recall Questionnaire,China College Student PsychologicalStress Scale,and Seriousness of Illness Rating Scale were used to measure exercise,psychological stress level and health respectively for 4 times in 1year lon-gitude study. Exercise level was calculated into metabolic equivalent of energy. Result showed that the baseline illness level had significant positive relation-ship with psychological stress(r=0.26,P<0.05),while there was no correlation between exercise and illness(r=0.06,P>0.01)or psychological stress(r=-0.04,P>0.01). Hierarchical linear model analysis indicated that psychological stress(β=0.23,P<0.01)and exercise(β=1.54,P<0.01)can predict ill-ness. Meanwhile the interaction effects between exercise and psychological was also significant(β=0.05,P<0.05). Exercise may play as a moderator betweenpsychological stress and illness to buffer the negative effects that is exerted by psychological stress on health.
