从比赛的"公平性"遭质疑、观赏性降低、结果的不确定性下降3个方面分析了乒乓球运动在发展过程中产生危机的根本原因,指出要从竞赛规则的改革上实现乒乓球运动的可持续发展,必须要全面考虑各方面的因素。这些因素主要包括球拍及技术使用的相对"公平性"、打法的多样化发展、攻守的相对平衡、不同地域运动员的个性心理特征、技术的复杂性和普适性等。结合这些主要因素,分析近期一些规则改革的得失和几项规则改革措施的可行性,提出对击球工具(球拍)进行分类规范、按打法分类比赛和不同比赛采用不同用球等竞赛规则改革措施,以期促进乒乓球运动更好发展。

The author analyzed the causes of crisis during the development process of table tennis from three aspects: query on the fairness of competition;reduction in its ornamental and decline in the uncertainty of results.This paper also argued that to realize the sustainable development of table tennis,which is to rely on the reform in competition rules,and to fully consider all kinds of factors.These factors mainly include the relative "fairness" in the racket and technical use,the diversification of play,the relative balance of offensive and defensive,the individual psychological characteristics of athletes from different regions,the complexity and generality of sport skills.Analysis on the gains and losses of some recent reforms of rules as well as the feasibility of some reforms were given,which is on the basis of all the main factors mentioned before.Finally some reforms of rules such as classification for hit tool(racket),to separate and group by the way of play and different game with different ball are also set forth in order to innovate the sustainable development of table tennis.
